Creates meetings agendas, follows up with officers to ensure all topics and tasks are being covered, presides over all officer and general meetings, supports development of student life and leadership, and encourages members to complete their service points.
Records details of general member and officer meetings for reference and public viewing.
Represents AGS during all Los Medanos College Inter-Club Council (ICC) meetings and records details to be communicated back to the AGS board.
Takes pictures during AGS fundraising, or community service events as well as keep a record of the history of AGS. Works closely with the Web Administrator to ensure pictures are posted on the website.
*Must be available during most of AGS sponsored events or appoint another officer in his/her stead
Responsible for sending out weekly newsletters, and updating all of the approved AGS media outlets.
Performs the duties of the president in request of or in absence of, assists president with goal setting and motivating other members, assists president with club projects, and preforms duties assigned by the president and AGS members within reason and advance notice.
Responsible for annual budget and maintenance of adequate, correct records of all fiscal affairs and business transactions of the chapter.
Fundraising Officer (4 positions) (2 positions VACANT)
Directs, conducts, and supervises AGS sponsored fundraisers by strongly encouraging fundraisers to take place weekly or bi-weekly, reserving dates for fundraisers that conform to availability of general members and chapter officers. You will work closely with officers and members.
Networks and connects AGS to the outside community through organizing and planning events.
Regularly updates the AGS website and Calendar will all relevant information.
